I bought a modular and the siding put on was terrible mostly because the contractors did not know how to put it on and were trying to hide bad framing on top of it. Within a year, it warped in places, fell off in places and the seams stuck out like some Cheshire Cat's smile. I blame going modular and had a real siding company come in and do the whole house over with insulation. What a difference and I mean big time.

I found this new siding system that aligns the siding. It does not require nailing and it drains the moisture that gets behind vinyl siding. I know that vinyl siding leaks a lot.

I found your blog through http://contractortalk.com and I really like the "clean" look of the design. It looks like you have plenty to talk about and I get an overall feeling you enjoy the writing.

Really like the tip on the "grill" I haven't melted any siding, but I did bust a window years ago leaving my grill to close while it was heating up (turned it on and the football game went to overtime I was watching *crack*!!!). Needless to say I don't leave my grill anywhere near the house anymore.

I will make a link to your site in my sidebar (something you should consider is linking to others in yours as it usually creates links back to you which gives your site more authority in the searches! *free tip*) as it is tough to find good contractor based blogs still.

PS. please read the link I left and let me know your thoughts on this problem I am having with a competitor!

Thanks and good luck blogging!
